Heavy Metal

This bracelet is super cute and roars, "BOHO". I got this yesterday at TJMaxx and they only had one like this so, in more ways than one, i think it was meant for me. It would be super cute with a tank top or blouse that is a 3/4 quarter sleeve. It is perfect for any season (especially Summer and Autumn) The brand of this bracelet is none other than Lucky Brand which is notorious for their bohemian clothing, shoes, acessories, etc. In my opinion if you want to achieve the boho look shop at Lucky Brand, Free People, and sometimes even Wasteland. I know that not all of you have a store around your area or have enough money to get clothing from those stores so i would also check Macy's, Forever 21, American Eagle (one of my favorite stores), and put boho lookbook in the search engine and all kinds of boho clothing, how to wear, stores, maybe even DIYs will come up. If you guys want me to do a boho lookbook, boho: How To Wear, or another style comment below or share this blog on Google + and i will(: Thanks for reading!

Sophistcatedly Cool

Well, it is another hot, sunny day in California and as we know it, i don't think we will see cool weather anytime soon. Although, it does get old at night and early morning time but, after 8:30am it starts to get warm. I don't mind it at all, just where was this weather when it was actually Summer?? Anyways, i know i have been completely M.I.A. lately and im sorry for that, i have been deling with school grades, dance, and piano and know i can honestly say i will be on here everyday from now on. (Maybe not Tuesday because i have super late practice for my Polynesian Dance) but i will. Here i am keeping cool in this Summer-like weather with my Zara shirt with ruffles and a cute bow at the top, my distressed short-shorts, Vintage studded belt, cool converse and cute accessories. However, i am super ready for sweater weather. Who isn't? Ready for hot cocoa, cold nights, movie nights, scary movies, sweaters, boots, scarfs, and hopefully Homecoming (if i get asked that is.) Stay tuned because after i post this, im posting another cute boho find i got at TJMaxx and trust me its to die for(:       Shirt- Goodwill (Brand: Zara)     Shorts- Nordstrom     Belt- Wasteland      Acessories- Brandy Melville, Claries, Forever 21   Bag- TJMaxx

Haul Time (:

This is my haul from the thrift store and a new shop by where i live in California called 'Charming Charlies' i have never been there but my mother picked me up the scarf for polynesian dance practice and got me that cute studded cross body bag that i was surprised with and immediately fell in love with. It is perfect for going to the mall or a shop and not wanting to carry a lot of luggage in your purse. (trust me i do all the time when i dont even need to carry it.) Its perfect to wear with some moto boots and a moto jacket, also maybe with a cute girly dress to make it more edgy for the Fall. The pant/leggings i got at Goodwill and i love them! They are perfect for showing your shape and comfortable too! I wore it with the gray sweater on Friday and It was just a perfect combo. I wore it with sneakers to keep the look casual. The next thing i got was the boho type purse from Goodwill that has a peace sign on the side and my mother pointed it out and i thought "that is super cute and i love its boho vibe." so i got that as well(: The sweater i got on Friday with my cousin and today we were matching (: yes, yes we were even though it felt like 100 degrees outside in Sunny California we did it. Some would say it looks similar to the one at Brandy Melville, i agree the only difference is the material. Brandy Melville's is thin and a type of breathable material in summery days; However, the one i got at Marshalls was a little more for the Fall time when it gets cooler.

Smells Like Teen Spirit

Today's OOTD is inspired by the 90's Grunge era that Kurt Cobain (lead singer of the infamous Rock band 'Nirvana') made famous throughout the fashion world and world period. I got these amazing pants at Wasteland about a month ago and i when i first saw them i said "i have to have you." My mom at first, thought they wouldn't fit because they were the older version of Levi's but i tried them on, fell in love with them some more and took them home with me. I do recommend the store 'Wasteland' when you want something that no one at school has. They have all sorts of clothing you would see on the internet and think "but, where do they get that stuff at?" Now when i see it i think, "They probably got it at Wasteland." To me as a lover of Fashion and individualism i adore these pants and anyone that has the guts to go out of the norm of what anyone wears (esepcially school because they can be a bit cruel and judgemental) and wear/do what they want too. I love those kinds of people and if you're reading this and might be struggling on wanting to be an individual but too scared of what people may think or say.. dont care. Most people judge or give you hate because they want to be like you, and have the guts that you have to wear whatthey want as well but they rather look like Plain Jane and wear dark jeans, caridgans, and white t-shirts everyday. Do not get me wrong however, i do like those things and think of them as essentials in a wardrobe and if thats what you want to wear more power to you. I am just saying its ok to step out of your comfort zone, try something new, and go against the flow at school because after all you were born an original not a copy.  Also when you wear something thats like this and stands out, its important for that one thing to stand out and keep the rest of your outfit as simple as possible and not over do it. Reporting for Duty, Sir!

Sergeant reporting for Fashion, Sir! Combat boots have made a HUGE impact in the shoe fashion of today. You see them all the time in the Fall and Winter time, sometimes even in the Spring and Summer! You can literally wear them with anything and everything. Skirts, pants, shorts, dresses, you name it and it would probably look fashionable with combat boots on your feet. However, i do think that boots period not just combat boots are stylish and can be woren with anything. For example the shoes on the top (yes that is me modeling(: ) was my mothers when she was in her early 20s and she past them down to me (which i so happily took from her hands) i love them and plan on hopefully wearing them tomorrow to  school. The boots that i think are making a comeback are cowboy shoes. i have a black pair  with rhinestones at the edges and they are cuter than they sound trust me. Nowadays they are super cute, i especially want ones with the American Flag on them like i saw at Macy's before summer started. So, i suggest getting combat boots and cowboy boots (you heard it here first!) before Autumn and Winter starts because they arent going anywhere anytime soon!!(:

Fall Colors for Nails.

Hey everyone!(: sorry i have been kinda M.I.A. this past week but i am back now. Today i am going to show you the nail polish colors of Autumn. When i think of Autumn i think of Halloween, scary movies, leaves falling off of branches, pumpkins, Thanksgiving, sweaters, scarfs, boots, etc. and as much as i love Summer, i adore Fall. In sunny California, the Fall time is warm days and breezy/ cold nights (that i also adore) i picked these colors based on the style in California for the Autumn. I also don't see anything wrong with having bright nails, in loving memory of Summer. In fashion class, we have to do this project where i can go to the thrift store and look for a costume for Halloween and fix it up or i can make a poodle skirt like in the 50s. I am very indecisive about this because i would love to see a costume at the thrift store and patch up needed requirements for it but, i love the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s vintage style and would love to make a poodle skirt, especially if i go to Homecoming (hopefully and prayfully, i did go to the Glow Dance, it was alright by the way.) and the theme would be 50s. If not iwould still love the fact of me owning a poodle skirt. So, i will show you guys that and all the good things in store this Autumn season(: stay tuned for my Combat  Boot article coming up right now(:

TGIF

Can i get a TGIF?! i have waited for this since Tuesday, it has been the longest four days now looking back at it. Today was yet another hot day in the sweltering heat of what is California. At school i wore the tank but i got home and got me a new TV (Thank The Lord, i needed a new one.) and turned this maxi skirt into a dress, even though it original was a dress. You all know i love the boho vibe and completely recommended it. Although, it might not be some peoples taste in clothing/style, but its fine(: Today was a good Friday, not really boring (: seen people i really wanted to see and even talked to them. Now, down to the fashion. This sandals have grown on me ever since i got them for my 8th grade promotion, two years ago. It was the first product i got from Free People. Billabong, however, i had stuff from and really love that place because its boho and surfer style is a necessaity in my style book.      Maxi-skirt/dress- Billabong     Tank- Nordstrom     Sandals- Free People      Bracelets- Tilly's, American Eagle    Messenger Bag- TJMaxx    Purse- Brandy Melville
