Free People Dress

Yesterday, I went to Kohls & TJMaxx with my mom, aunt, and grandmother (haul coming up tomorrow !) and I wore my very beautiful free people dress (:
I absolutely adore Free People because it has this hippie, bohemian vibe that almost everyone loves and it's just great!
Please ignore my nails haha, but my jewelry is from lucky brand, kohls, H&M, etc.
Sorry for not posting a lot anymore! School is getting to be stressful but I will try to post Thursdays- Sundays or anyday I get off!(:

Great Buy!

A couple days ago I got this awesome scarf that's from Lucky Brand; however, I bought it from Marshall's and it was on sale for (drum roll please) $5.00! Yes, you read that right! I was so amazed when I saw it was $5.00 because if you bought it from the actually outlet or at Macy's, it would've been $59.99, so to me that was a deal!(:

Calm, Cool, and Collected

Today was super hot, I was trying to dodge the sun and take cover from it's rays. Don't get me wrong, the sun is beautiful and I love God's creation but it was humid today! I went downtown to Buffalo Exchange and got the cutest fring bag that was originally from Lucky Brand (one of my favorite brands, I will post a picture of it ASAP) and a cropped military inspired jacket! I also would love to do a post on this store because it's like a thrift store/ boutique store, you can sell, buy, or trade your clothes. The best part about it is, most of the time they do not have more of one thing, like target and H&M. So it's highly unlikely that you'll see someone down the street or at school wearing the same thing as you (pretty rad right?!) it has styles of all different types and celebrates the uniqueness of them all. So check your local listings and see if you have one close by!(:

Grunge Inspired Outfit and Tips

This outfit is Grunge inspired. It might not be the 90s type of Grunge but the type of Grunge that is trending on fashion blogs so, i put my twist to it. I am going to help you achieve the Grunge look with some easy steps and tips. First step, NEVER COPY SOMEONE, it looks to obvious and bland, mix it up with you taste in clothes and accessories. Step two, Denim jackets ae a must. Most wear them baggy, but you can wear the type of Denim jacket you want, also add some pins, buttons, or patches to make it look like a one-of-a-kind. Step three, Dark jeans, distressed, high waisted, and even shorts that are high waisted with sheer tights undeneath are a must to have. Dont forget you can make them distressed, add patches and sew fabric for patch wok onto the pants. The shoes, sneakers, creepers, or combat boots are a must in the wardrobe of a Grunge peson. The one destroyed they look, the better. Motocycle jackets and tough looking accessories make the cut as well. Don't forget your favorite rock band t-shirt! You're good to go!!(: see ya next time!!     Pants- Urban Outfitters    Shirt- TJMaxx    Denim Jacket- H&M   Shoes- Converse

Stealing from the Boys

We have been known to steal little items from the boy's closest. Slackers, loafers, blazers, suspenders, Varisty jackets, etc. This is my boy look but still looks girly. I matched my American Eagle baggy, worn in blue jeans, a crisp white shirt from H&M, with a cute varisty looking sweater from Vera Wang's Princess line for Teens at Kohl's for an all-American look. To add a little bit more tomboyish i wore my beat up white Converse. I also added some unexpected pieces in this outfit such as my Lucky Brand bangle from TJMaxx and my matte red lipstick to show im not a tomboy i can be girly too. This look is perfect for Fall, when you do not want to think too much about an outfit (every good fashionista knows you shouldnt think at all and throw an outfit together and look good.) or just to be laidback at a Football game. Check back this weekend for my Fall lookbook, Trend of the Month, and September Favorites (late i know but, better late than never.) (:

Think Pink

This is a throwback outfit. I love it because it has a Vintage-y feel to it but always delivers a girly sophistcated element to it. As you guys know i am obsessed with vintage clothing or anything that looks vintage. So, that makes me more attracted to it. So, today after school i had Polynesian dance practice and it was SUPER cold out i was freezing and i had to be bare foot, tank top, and shorts. I know. Insanity. BUt, i stuck it through the very end and proud of it. The weather for tomorrow says there is a 50% chance of rain and right now it is gray, dark and looks like a storm is a brewin'! (haha) So, probably hopefully, this weekend i will post a Fall Lookbook. so be on the look out for that.(: see you next time bye!!  Sweater- Macy's     Shirt- Target    Skirt- Goodwill     Bracelet- TJMaxx    Boots- Famous Footwear   Socks- Nordstrom

Lacey Love

ITS FALL. Which only means scary movies, cold nights, Starbucks, sweaters, scarfs, boots, blazers, denim jackets, and much much more. I know i feel as if everytime im on here i tell you guys i will post more.... and then i never post. I am so busy with piano, dance, and keeping up my good grades ( 4 A's and 2 B's) that i always forget to post and i really want to because i love fashion and i want to share my love for it with you guys so i praying that this weekend coming up since it will be a 3-day weekend (and The Walking Dead comes back on!) i will post a Fall lookbook for you guys. (Which i prayfully will do or i will make time for) Anyways, i absolutely, postively love this shirt. It honestly makes me think of something in the real olden days like almost when they believed that vampires existed days and that a 'vampire' would wear this. It is so cute for Fall and i just might add it in my Fall Lookbook as well(; (spoiler alert!) The shorts are to die for. It makes me feel like a sailors girlfriend. Style Tip of The Day: Always get something you believe will go with anything; However, get something that makes you stand out from the crowd that no one else has. Everyone loves a 'strange' (to some people it may be strange or fashionable) piece in an outift/ wardrobe      Shirt- H&M    Shorts- TJMaxx    Socks- H&M      Bracelet- TJMaxx    Rings- Forever 21, Brandy Melville

Sophistcatedly Cool

Well, it is another hot, sunny day in California and as we know it, i don't think we will see cool weather anytime soon. Although, it does get old at night and early morning time but, after 8:30am it starts to get warm. I don't mind it at all, just where was this weather when it was actually Summer?? Anyways, i know i have been completely M.I.A. lately and im sorry for that, i have been deling with school grades, dance, and piano and know i can honestly say i will be on here everyday from now on. (Maybe not Tuesday because i have super late practice for my Polynesian Dance) but i will. Here i am keeping cool in this Summer-like weather with my Zara shirt with ruffles and a cute bow at the top, my distressed short-shorts, Vintage studded belt, cool converse and cute accessories. However, i am super ready for sweater weather. Who isn't? Ready for hot cocoa, cold nights, movie nights, scary movies, sweaters, boots, scarfs, and hopefully Homecoming (if i get asked that is.) Stay tuned because after i post this, im posting another cute boho find i got at TJMaxx and trust me its to die for(:       Shirt- Goodwill (Brand: Zara)     Shorts- Nordstrom     Belt- Wasteland      Acessories- Brandy Melville, Claries, Forever 21   Bag- TJMaxx

Smells Like Teen Spirit

Today's OOTD is inspired by the 90's Grunge era that Kurt Cobain (lead singer of the infamous Rock band 'Nirvana') made famous throughout the fashion world and world period. I got these amazing pants at Wasteland about a month ago and i when i first saw them i said "i have to have you." My mom at first, thought they wouldn't fit because they were the older version of Levi's but i tried them on, fell in love with them some more and took them home with me. I do recommend the store 'Wasteland' when you want something that no one at school has. They have all sorts of clothing you would see on the internet and think "but, where do they get that stuff at?" Now when i see it i think, "They probably got it at Wasteland." To me as a lover of Fashion and individualism i adore these pants and anyone that has the guts to go out of the norm of what anyone wears (esepcially school because they can be a bit cruel and judgemental) and wear/do what they want too. I love those kinds of people and if you're reading this and might be struggling on wanting to be an individual but too scared of what people may think or say.. dont care. Most people judge or give you hate because they want to be like you, and have the guts that you have to wear whatthey want as well but they rather look like Plain Jane and wear dark jeans, caridgans, and white t-shirts everyday. Do not get me wrong however, i do like those things and think of them as essentials in a wardrobe and if thats what you want to wear more power to you. I am just saying its ok to step out of your comfort zone, try something new, and go against the flow at school because after all you were born an original not a copy.  Also when you wear something thats like this and stands out, its important for that one thing to stand out and keep the rest of your outfit as simple as possible and not over do it. TGIF

Can i get a TGIF?! i have waited for this since Tuesday, it has been the longest four days now looking back at it. Today was yet another hot day in the sweltering heat of what is California. At school i wore the tank but i got home and got me a new TV (Thank The Lord, i needed a new one.) and turned this maxi skirt into a dress, even though it original was a dress. You all know i love the boho vibe and completely recommended it. Although, it might not be some peoples taste in clothing/style, but its fine(: Today was a good Friday, not really boring (: seen people i really wanted to see and even talked to them. Now, down to the fashion. This sandals have grown on me ever since i got them for my 8th grade promotion, two years ago. It was the first product i got from Free People. Billabong, however, i had stuff from and really love that place because its boho and surfer style is a necessaity in my style book.      Maxi-skirt/dress- Billabong     Tank- Nordstrom     Sandals- Free People      Bracelets- Tilly's, American Eagle    Messenger Bag- TJMaxx    Purse- Brandy Melville
