Smells Like Teen Spirit

Today's OOTD is inspired by the 90's Grunge era that Kurt Cobain (lead singer of the infamous Rock band 'Nirvana') made famous throughout the fashion world and world period. I got these amazing pants at Wasteland about a month ago and i when i first saw them i said "i have to have you." My mom at first, thought they wouldn't fit because they were the older version of Levi's but i tried them on, fell in love with them some more and took them home with me. I do recommend the store 'Wasteland' when you want something that no one at school has. They have all sorts of clothing you would see on the internet and think "but, where do they get that stuff at?" Now when i see it i think, "They probably got it at Wasteland." To me as a lover of Fashion and individualism i adore these pants and anyone that has the guts to go out of the norm of what anyone wears (esepcially school because they can be a bit cruel and judgemental) and wear/do what they want too. I love those kinds of people and if you're reading this and might be struggling on wanting to be an individual but too scared of what people may think or say.. dont care. Most people judge or give you hate because they want to be like you, and have the guts that you have to wear whatthey want as well but they rather look like Plain Jane and wear dark jeans, caridgans, and white t-shirts everyday. Do not get me wrong however, i do like those things and think of them as essentials in a wardrobe and if thats what you want to wear more power to you. I am just saying its ok to step out of your comfort zone, try something new, and go against the flow at school because after all you were born an original not a copy.  Also when you wear something thats like this and stands out, its important for that one thing to stand out and keep the rest of your outfit as simple as possible and not over do it. Keeping It Cool

Today was hot and too boring for my liking. I kept cool in my embellished tunic and white cutoff shorts with sandals. I am not really sure since its 7:20pm my time in California if i will post another picture but if i dont, i sure will tomorrow since its Friday and i probably wont do anything yet again on the weekends. My Favorites for the month of August

Hello everyone!(: Happy Labor Day!!(: im currently at home in my PJs at 12:00pm and probably wont go anywhere but, thats ok. Im also watching Lifetime because they have like the best movies on any channel. FX is good too. Anyways, these are my monthly favorites for the month of August. i think ill try to do this every month if i have the time because of school, dance, piano, and homework , i am a busy girl. so, juggling blogging with all those things AND a social life is hard, but not impossible. The bag i got at Brandy Melville and i absolutely adore it. It has this boho-hippie vibe that i love and may i might add that fringe is in? The belt i got at Wasteland and i love that place, i think im going to go back there next week but, im not sure i hope so. The rings i wear like almost everyday i got at Brandy Melville, Forever 21, or Fashion Gal and im obessed with the little thin rings and not big bulky rings that take up three fingers. I also love mid-rings, whoever came up with that idea i applaud you. The brown suede sandals i got at Urban Outfitters and they're perfect for just slipping on and heading out to do whatever you have to do. The black leather, gladiator sandals i got at Free People online, my mother showed them to me and i fell in love instantly. I love Free People's clothing and accessories so of course im going to love the shoes. Of course i had to show Teen Vogue and Seventeen in my monthly favorites because i look at the magazine a lot to get inspiration for my outfits or to just be me and not care what people think. The flower crown i got at Windsor, i have another flower crown i got at Forever 21, it is bigger than this one so i dont know if i should wear it to school or not, maybe with the right outfit but, this one is small and convenient also it's super cute for this flower child (: the sunglasses i got at Billabong and i also  love that store, i wanted some circular glasses like these because they are super cute amnd when i found them i had to have them. My backpack is from Fashion Gal and its super cute and so far no one at my school has one like it (YES) as you guys can tell i love standing out and not being part of the norm, i like being seperate(: thank you for reading i know its a lot. i will try to post more, i might post something else later on in the evening so yeah, keeping checking back for that. What is some of your August favorites?? i would love to hear them. 

Flower Child

As i type this, im almost about to melt into a puddle from how hot it is in California right now. i have a love/hate relationship with hot weather. Where was it when i was on Summer break?? Sorry i didnt post anything yesterday but, this weekend trust me i will. Also, ill post much moe than just OOTDs because i know those can get annoying/boring. Labor Day is coming up and i have no idea what i'll do. Free Girl

Hey guys!!(: so, right now in Southern California it is extremely hot outside and i dont know why i keep wearing pants ?? lol but i did keep cool in my cute Brandy Melville crop top (that i had to hide from teachers) and my cool gladiator sandals from Free People. (i love that brand SOO much. i want everything from there.) Can i just say how much i like my sophomore year in high school so far more than my freshmen? Like i just like it a lot. Today i signed up to get a locker (i got one!! yay!! no more lugging around heavy books!!) and im actually feelin' the high school maturity vibe going on. i have good vibes for this year and i pray that nothing bad happens. well, too bad. Last Day of Summer :(

I begin my sophomore year of High School tomorrow. Am i nervous? kinda, only because i want nice, friendly people and teachers in my classes. Am i excited? yes because im going back as a new me. New perspective, new hair, new style, new everything. I hope to meet new people at school and continue to go places on the weekend with Family & friends. Hoping this is a good year!!! The shoes i got when i was in the 7th grade or 8th grade. i didnt wear them a lot because, they tie in the back and it comes loose sometimes. They're really cute so, im going to suffer that just to wear them. Anyways, again, im sad to see Summer go (as is everyone else, it will be missed) but i am looking forward to cold nights, sweaters, boots, scarfs, coffee drinks, scary movies, and a lot of food(:  (did i mention i love Black Friday sales?) My grandma was wearing it. I kept telling her how lucky she was to have owned a Zombie Audrey Hepburn t-shirt. it had both of my favorite things: Zombies & Audrey. she told my mom to wash it and give it to me because i kept talking about it, and how much it meant to me. Im blessed to have such a cool grandma like mine. and my parents for letting me be fashionable all the time. I wanted to add a little quirky-ness to my outfit so, i wore my old time-y glasses i got at Claries many moons ago. Although, i dont need to wear glasses i think they're cute for me to wear. They're unique and i havent seen anyone yet at my school wear such glasses, maybe this one girl i saw that had a fabulous style but, shes way older than me. As this school year is about to begin for me on Wednesday (ugh) i keep thinking "what style should i do this year?" "Should i be unique? Boho?
